Executive Team Biography Briefs

CEO Michael P. Mack co-founded Garden Fresh Restaurant Corp. in 1983. Prior to Garden Fresh, Mack worked for Bain & Company, a management-consulting firm, where he specialized in the development and implementation of business strategies. He received a B.A. from Brown University and a M.B.A. from Harvard University.

R. Gregory Keller has served as President of Garden Fresh Restaurant Corp. since January 2007, and before that served as Senior Vice President of Operations since 1991. Prior to joining Garden Fresh, Keller was a Divisional Vice President of Operations of Paragon, Inc., a restaurant company, where he managed operations in the Midwest and west coast. Keller received a B.S. from Northern Illinois University.

Kenneth J. Keane has served as President of Garden Fresh Restaurant Corp. since January 2007. Keane joined the company in 1986 as a restaurant manager and has served as Vice President of Marketing, Vice President of Human Resources, and Director of Operations during his Garden Fresh career. Ken boasts more than 34 years of experience in the restaurant business.

CFO John D. Morberg has served as Chief Financial Officer since January 2007. Prior to joining Garden Fresh, Morberg served as Vice President - Finance, Chief Financial Officer, and Treasurer for Directed Electronics Inc. and before that as Vice President and Controller of PETCO Animal Supplies, Inc. Morberg received a Juris Doctor from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, and a B.B.A. in Accounting from the University of San Diego. Morberg is a licensed California attorney and a CPA.
